Situated within a National Park, on the north-west of Benguerra Island, the waters surrounding the Azura Retreat are ideal for diving. Guests can also get involved in the resort’s various conservation projects, protecting indigenous and endangered local turtles. The resort has been created in partnership with the local community and there is a strong emphasis on maintaining and celebrating the environement. There are 15 villas all traditionally designed with a contemporary twist. Relax in your private infinity pool or take the short stroll to the beach and enjoy the glorious views of the Indian Ocean from the shade of a palm. Food is excellent with an emphasis on local produce, much of it grown on site. There is also a well stocked wine cellar so you can sip a glass of crisp white wine and contemplate the beauty that surrounds you.
