Pure foodie heaven. One of my favourite places in the world - it does get packed on a Saturday though, but it's worth wading through the crowds for. Had an amazing salt beef sandwich last time I was there.
Jess77, Brighton 27/9/2007Was there a while ago and bought all manner of goodies. Had lunch sitting in the grounds of southwark cathedral - yummy falafel - my partner swears by the Ginger Pig, but as a veggie, I was more interested in the smoothies and the wonderful, wonderful olives. And as mentioned below the cakes and brownies are quite spectacular.
SarahSaxon, Edinburgh 07/9/2007Lived in the area for a couple of years and went there most weekends - fresh meat and fish particularly fab! Highly recommend a visit - check out the chorizo sandwich stall.
Muppet, London 10/8/2007God, yes, the brownies are fab. I bought so much yummy stuff last time I was here. Olives, cheeses, this amazing walnut bread. It does get rammed on a Saturday though.
helen27, London 31/5/2007Love this place - I dare anyone with a sweet tooth to walk past those mountains of brownies and not buy one!
