The tour of the organic coffee farm on volcanic soil has been wildly popular, and consistently so since 1991. The tours offered at Café Britt are award winning, combining the interesting ins and outs of the coffee production process with their beautiful setting and the remarkable hospitality and knowledge of the tour guides. Their Café Britt bus travels daily from nearby San José from many of the city’s hotels and inns specifically to arrive on time for the tours. At the end of the tour, or any time during the day if you’d prefer, a selection of exotic and creative foods are offered at the Don Prospero Restaurant, as well, of course, as hundreds of options for personalized, gourmet Costa Rican coffee.
