Learn To Make A Classic Cocktail

This guy really deserves the "King of Cocktails" moniker - a real character who knows his drinks inside out and is happy to explain the history and subtleties of what he's preparing for you. If you're going to learn about classic cocktails in NYC - this is the course and Dale's your man.

After years spent making a mediocre punch at every party I was inspired to get my act together after visiting various upmarket bars in London and New York. I bought a few books, and started with the martinis, cosmopolitans and mojitos. I've become wildly popular with my cocktail-loving girlfriend and I'm getting more interested in traditional cocktails and ingredients.


I've met Dale DeGroff, mentioned above, at his book launch in the UK (Craft of the Cocktail) - he's the Director of Drinks at Milk and Honey, The Player and other bars. He's a fantastic old-school cocktail guy - hugely knowledgeable and full of great stories and anecdotes. I'll definitely be checking out his course next time I'm in New York.
