Spread over 20 acres of rain forest outside Ubud, the Como Shambhala Estate (formerly known as the Begawan Giri Estate) is a stunning resort in stunning surroundings - located as it is amidst the green serenity of Bali. Situated close to Ubud, the island’s creative and cultural heart, the estate is spread out over eight hectares of lush tropical gardens. There are five residences on site, each with its own theme: Fire, Water, Wind, Forest and Earth. These in turn feature twenty-one stylish suites and four private villas. The estate is devoted to a holistic way of living, with everything geared towards achieving a sense of peace and harmony. There are daily complimentary yoga classes and, of course, superb spa facilities. Guests can choose from a wide range of massages and exotic body treatments to soothe and ease and pamper. Meals can be taken in taken in your suite or at the estate’s excellent Biji restaurant. Food is as fresh and tempting as you would expect, with many ingredients harvested directly from the estate's vegetable gardens. Pure bliss.
