Fire Restaurant Fire Restaurant Fire Restaurant

New Delhi’s swankiest restaurant in its hippest hotel, although we won’t blame you for forgetting that you come here to eat, not to marvel at its design. Enter the main restaurant and a wall of sheet glass with a light-refracting crystal curtain towers to one side; tables with opaque Perspex panels are dotted around the floor; and orange ceiling bulbs light everything up in a tangerine glow. It looks more Vegas than Delhi. Next door, the Agni bar with its glowing glass tables and glass dividing panel etched with flame shapes continues the theme. If the decor is outlandish though, the menu brings you back to a more classical realm. Expect Indian classics such as tandoori chicken, lamb biryani and spicy coriander-rich vegetarian dishes, all elegantly served in keeping with the setting. A hot spot for the young and moneyed elite, come and watch them light up Fire.

Went there with my family and was overwhelmed by the hopitality and the food. Definitely a class apart!

Definitely the best upmarket value for money modern Indian restaurant in Delhi. I went there last month with my wife and was greeted in a traditional manner and the manager and his team took great care and provided us with a world class experience.

I agree, it's the best place in town and that's coming from someone who lives in the city!

This was not what I was expecting when my boyfriend and I first planned a trip to India. Then again it took 5 years for him to actually get round to booking it. At which point I had got a rather well paid job and so booking a table and enjoying a delicious meal at this fabulous restaurant was well within our means. A culinary Indian delight.
