Part of the magic of Iguazu, which means “great water" in Guarani Indian, stems from the rocks and islands at the rim of the falls which divide the water into over 250 individual cascades. the_answer3, Los Angeles 01/6/2005There are no words that can describe the feelings that visiting the Iguazu Falls invokes. Both sides, the Brazilian and the Argentinean, of the falls are absolutely fantastic, awesome, and spectacular. The panoramic views from the Brazilian side or the 'up-close-and-personal' experience of the Argentinean side. Personally, I couldn't say which is better. This is the experience of a lifetime, and it most certainly made my life.

Don't miss the opportunity to get completely soaked by going under a waterfall both on a platform and on a boat. Be sure to visit the Argentinian side as it takes you near (and under) the falls.
