When Eleanor Roosevelt first set eyes on the Iguazu Falls, her response was simple: "Poor Niagara". Located on the Brazil-Argentina border not far from Paraguay, this is one of the most breathtaking sights in the natural world.

Part of the magic of Iguazu, which means “great water" in Guarani Indian, stems from the rocks and islands at the rim of the falls which divide the water into over 250 individual cascades. The result is a visual feast that will stay in the imagination for ever. There is enough here to keep a whole group engrossed for two days.

Refresh yourself in the spray from the cascades, lose yourself in the sound of the crashing waters, and marvel at the many rainbows. The best views are from the Brazilian side, but the Iguazu National Park, on the Argentinian bank, is just as captivating. The result of a volcanic eruption, Iguazu is likely to blow your min

Reviews of Iguazu Falls

One of the few sights in the world that truly leave you speechless! Words can't capture the beauty and awe one feels when standing there.

Amazing waterfalls experience! Pictures do not do this experience justice. Simply breath taking. Puts Niagra Falls to shame. If you ever have the chance to see this spectacular site, do not hesitate, and go!

There are no words that can describe the feelings that visiting the Iguazu Falls invokes. Both sides, the Brazilian and the Argentinean, of the falls are absolutely fantastic, awesome, and spectacular. The panoramic views from the Brazilian side or the 'up-close-and-personal' experience of the Argentinean side. Personally, I couldn't say which is better. This is the experience of a lifetime, and it most certainly made my life.

Totally breathtaking! The sheer size and beauty of it leaves you speechless. Don't miss the opportunity to get completely soaked by going under a waterfall both on a platform and on a boat. Be sure to visit the Argentinian side as it takes you near (and under) the falls.

Words are insufficient to describe this natural phenomenon. You need to be there, feel the spray and hear the incredible noise of these falls. One not to be missed!
