Then you need to pay a visit to Copenhagen’s Illums Bolighus, one of the best home interiors shops in Europe. This place is a mecca for you and all of your kind: four floors of prestigious Danish design, as well as the best from the rest of Scandinavia and around the world. Located on a pedestrian street called the "Stroget", that runs close to the Danish Parliament, the store stocks everything from cutlery to furniture. All the big names are accounted for, with whole sections devoted to covetable items from Piet Hein and Arne Jacobsen. January and August are good times to visit as you will catch the twice-annual sales. From November the Christmas shop opens, packed with all manner of highly desirable things. Weren’t aware you needed that impossibly sleek and gorgeous condiment set? How wrong you were.
