Founded in 1967 by Erich Yaakov Yaruslavsky, the spa at Mizpe Hayamim still reflects his ethos. This is a place dedicated to health, well-being and reinvigoration of the body and mind. Boasting spectacular views over the Hula Valley and the Sea of Galilee, the hotel has 100 simply but comfortably furnished rooms. Wake up early and pick a spa treatment, a river stone massage or one with ayurvedic oils maybe. Then about a laze in the Jacuzzi or a gentle hike along the surrounding mountain paths? Just make sure you are back in time for dinner. The restaurant serves food sourced from the hotel’s own organic farm (guests can tour this if they wish) and is unswervingly delicious. You’ll be so busy enjoying yourself you won’t notice the good it’s all doing you.
