Rialto Towers in Melbourne's business district is the tallest office building in the southern hemisphere, and its observation deck gives first-time visitors a spectacular introduction to this most European of Australia's cities and its elegant architecture, temperate climate and abundant parks.

There's a 360° panorama from the deck, so you can see beyond the Westgate Bridge to the west, the Dandenong Ranges to the east and Port Phillip Bay to the south. If you've just arrived, take in all of the Rialto's views, get your bearings by watching the 20-minute film showcasing the highlights of the city and its surrounds, and then hit the streets with your friends to get the most out of the self-styled "most liveable city in the world".

Reviews of Rialto Towers

Very nice but not the tallest building in Melbourne anymore. The Eureka Tower and its sundeck are better.
