The latest adrenaline sport invented in New Zealand, Zorbing involves strapping yourself inside a huge transparent sphere and getting rolled down hills, ski slopes or waterfalls. You are protected by a 2ft vacuum of air within the sphere, so while you reach speeds of up to 30mph, you don't feel the bumps.

Zorbing was so much fun! I did the package that gave you 3 runs: the dry one, in which you are strapped in was immense fun - kind of like being on a rollercoaster while doing gymnastics. Next came the wet zorb. Wow! It was like being in a washing machine and you I laughed all the way down! Fortunately you get to borrow towels and "wet' gear. Definitely the best buzz I had in New Zealand.
